I did download the new plug in and tried to replace in the program files but did not change it. The majority of iOS 10 UI elements have been remade from scratch using vector shapes for your personal usage. If you have an older version some features of the files may not work as expected. I am guessing that was because that type of update is just updating the ACR in the CC or whatever calls it (their subscription infrastructure), and is NOT updating the ACR that the Elements itself is using. I also asked a question about why when I had just down an update from a notification, it didn't update the ACR inside elements, but they didn't know. I'm assuming something similar would work for 2022, but if not, just post there and they will help! I just ran into this with Elements 2021, and got a fix from the Adobe forums:

Consequently i would need to either use DNG converter or upgrade to subscription of PS or LR or both. Evidently the brand new Adobe photoshop elements does not support the new camera raw14.1. Just off phone with Adobe support after much effort actually talking to a real person. I bought it early December but did not install. I just downloaded the Elements 2022 yesterday so should be an updated version. Unfortunately I am on windows not a Mac so no update. Any advice as no luck on their Adobe forumĭoes Elements have any updates of their own? I need it for my SonyA7IV to recognize raw files. Seems I have older version of camera raw not 14.1 I have repeatedly installed new version but does not replace older version 13.? version.
